Welcome to The Fashion Standup, an independent and unique online magazine/publication that specializes in fashion writing and research, with a special emphasis on the Portuguese Fashion System. In a period where subscription newsletters are gaining popularity, we chose the Ghost platform to design a website that truly reflects our brand's vision and what we think our community prefers.

So, The Fashion Standup is more than just a newsletter or a blog - it's a whole platform. It's not just about being paid or free; there's a range of options.

We prefer not to use the term "Fashion blog" because it is commonly linked , on social media, to articles about trends and style tips. Here, we focus on exploring Fashion as a field and its connections with other areas like Design, Production, Communication, Promotion, Marketing, Management, Sociology, and Art. And of course, we always keep in mind the essential elements - love and the people involved.

As a publication aimed at a specific group, we will talk about the ways The Fashion Standup looks at monetization, like different kinds digital media have showed us, there are three main ways to monetize: ads, sponsorships, and subscribers. We chose subscribers to have more freedom in our content, not just focusing on getting clicks and views. Let's take a break from all the noise and distractions. Let's enjoy the moment without everything around us being an advertisement.
